he Bicycle Security Compound has the added features of being totally enclosed and freestanding. Access is through double padlockable security gates at either end of the security perimeter. The gates are manufactured from high spec AKZO-Nobel 15 years guaranteed powder coated steel tube, in filled with 40mm x 40mm welded, wire mesh. The wire is 3.5mm in diameter, giving clear visibility and total protection from vandalism and theft.
The Premium Security Bike shelters are constructed using a modular frame system that can be extended to virtually any size in 2m segments. The frames are constructed in 15 year guaranteed AKZO-Nobel powder coated high grade steel, colour bismuth. All the components easily bolt together with stainless steel bolts. The side and roof panels are fixed with galvanized self tapping screws. The Bike Shelters are best fixed to a firm surface, concrete, asphalt or paving stone and come with adjustable feet in case the surface is uneven. All components are supplied, with no further purchase necessary, and can be assembled by personnel with DIY skills.
The side, roof and rear panels are all removable and are held in place with removable glazing strips. The side panels of the sides and rear of the shelter are 6mm clear, solid, impact resistant UV, FR polycarbonate. The bottom panels are 6mm aluminum high pressure laminated composite, colour fast, wear and weather resistant, which also come with the option of bearing the customer’s logo. The roof is 8mm triwall polycarbonate and comes with extra support to withstand heavy snow loads. The shelter is built for purpose with a 20 year life span.
